06/11/2009 - BORRI LAUNCHES B9600 400-800kVA, COMPLETING THE “FULL SINEWAVE” 10 TO 800kVA UPS RANGE

Bibbiena, Arezzo, 13th October 2009. - BORRI Industrial Power Solutions, a manufacturing company in power conversion field, have launched the Borri B9600, a unique double-conversion online uninterruptible power system (UPS) which is available in the high power range 400 to 800 kVA, completing the “Full Sinewave” 10 to 800kVA UPS range.

It not only uses a pure sinewave voltage supplying any kind of demanding loads, but also an IGBT rectifier with Power Factor Correction (PFC), delivering a strong input with current harmonics reduction (THDi<3%) and power factor close to unit (0,99).
In order to reduce the high costs of ownership with modern IT rooms, the new UPS is extremely compact and guarantees a high efficiency up to 95%.

The product is designed for centralised and secure supply of large, mission-critical systems, such as large datacenters, ISP’s and telecommunication services.

The B9600 offers a much smaller foot print when compared with like-for-like systems by other manufacturers due to an effective cooling system which allows the customer to install the unit in close proximity against rear and side walls or other cabinets.

Besides B9600 can be easily configured in highly reliable and scalable parallel UPS systems for operation in both redundancy and capacity increase.

Among other features we highlight an LDC display user-friendly interface with mimic panel and a wide range of connectivity options which make management in different infrastructures easier.
